The Confluent Forms WordPress WooCommerce Recommended Products Engine replaces WooCommerce’s standard related-products system with a configurable, weighted recommendation engine. Instead of relying solely on WooCommerce’s default category and tag relationships, the plugin can score products using categories, tags, price similarity, and any global WooCommerce product attribute.

Store owners decide which product characteristics matter most. A shop selling artwork might give the Artist attribute all the weight, while another store could combine product category, brand, material, size, and price. Scores are normalized automatically, so weights can be configured around the catalog rather than forced to total a particular number.

Recommendations use WooCommerce’s native related-products template and product-loop output, preserving compatibility with theme styling and template overrides. The engine can replace the standard related-products block, take over existing [related_products] shortcodes, or be placed independently using the included [cf_recommended_products] shortcode.

The plugin also measures how recommendations perform. It tracks impressions, clicks, add-to-cart activity, attributed sales, units sold, and revenue. Optional Google Analytics 4 events can be sent when a recommendation is clicked. All reporting data remains inside WordPress and uses scalable daily aggregation rather than indefinitely storing every raw impression event.

Everything runs from your own WordPress installation. There are no subscriptions, activation servers, external recommendation services, feature-locked “Pro” versions, mandatory accounts, or storefront branding.
